108 words Speed testI have many memories of typing tests taken at various points in my life. The first I can recall was with Mavis Beacon in the 7th grade, that year my school started teaching us typing and I was quite fast although I looked at my fingers to find the keys. My teacher, Mr. Anderson made a cover for my keyboard (a cardboard box with holes for my hands) which I felt he created just to pick on me. I was so embarrased by the box and that no other students had to have one and disapointed as my typing speed dropped significantly while I re-learned how to type not looking at my fingers. Several years later during my initial evaluations with the Air Force they conducted a typing test and I scored top in the class with 125 words per minute. Today, I type 108 WPM sitting on my couch in my living room. Take the speed test and tell me how you do!
