1. United States Air Force Veteran: Achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant (E-5) while serving on Active Duty with the United States Air Force as an Information Management Craftsman (3A051)

2. Awarded the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal while stationed at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait to attest to encounters with foreign armed opposition as part of Operation SOUTHERN WATCH. Also participated in Operation ALLIED FORCE and Operation ENDURING FREEDOM. Considered "highly decorated" for two tours on active duty; presented the following Medals/Ribbons:

3. Additionally entered in the most prestigious Air Force recognition programs, highlighted by the two time selection as Information Management Professional of the Year for all United States Air Forces in Europe.

4. An active lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and of the American Legion, Rob is also the volunteer webmaster for the Veterans Memorial Association of Eugene.
